‘Twin here and there by C-Ludik is a bilingual travel blog combining travel stories and photojournalism to celebrate the beauty of the world and the richness of cultures from all continents. I’ve always been passionate about photography and I am personally attached to the idea of the travel diary, where text and images work together harmoniously to keep a moment or to catch a fugitive memory. However, it is not just the sights I see that make the travel but all my senses working together that make the journey memorable. Even if it’s hard to learn to be more like Marvel’s Daredevil hero by eliminating sight and enhancing the sensitivity of all your other senses, it is worthwhile. By educating your senses when you travel, you open yourself up to a broad range of cultural interactions and memories. And by including all 5 senses in your writings, you make your travel story more vibrant. I challenge you to read any article on this blog without wanting to be there, on top of a mountain, on the crest of a dune or contemplating crystal clear waters. However, before discovering these new places, you will have to need the relevant outfit, from snorkel to beanie, from flip-flops to snow shoes, because you will travel across many lands, at different altitude and latitude, in other words to the four corners of the Earth. You will dream of escape, of charming stories and of amazing pictures that will make you pack up immediately. Life is short and the world is wide and beautiful, so come with me, there’s a place on the Earth I’d like to show you…

About

A black and white portrait of Celine and her comic traveler alter-ego C-Ludik.

Hi ! My name is C-Ludik and I’m the person who runs this creative space. Welcome to ‘Tween here and there, a travel blog that shares awesome destinations, stunning photographs and captivating travel stories from around the world. No two landscapes are ever the same because of a different light, different conditions… whether it's a new or an old place. That’s what I love about nature and landscape photography. As the famous Ibn Battuta traveler said: « traveling – it leaves you speechless then turns you into a storyteller ». He’s right ! Behind the photographer, I see myself more as a storyteller. When I arrive on a place, I try to respond to what I see and tell the story of the land. If you love travel, exploring new places, and seeing more of this beautiful world then you'll be right at home here. ‘Tween here and there is the travel inspiration for those with full-time jobs and for those in search of any off-the-beaten track destinations around the world, near and far.
